Changing Times

Generation Z or as we’re calling it, is one of the most educated generation the world has ever seen. The quote, “Knowledge is power” holds to be very true for this generation. Gen Z is the newest generation born between mid 1990s and early 2010s. It is seen that this generation is the most multi-ethnic, gender-fluid generation and holds a greater commitment to change the world than any other generations.

This generation is balancing its forward-thinking, liberal views with old-school values and traditions. from gender equality to racism and all other evil social beliefs that Millennials couldn’t even speak out, this generation is bold and fears nothing to attack the core of social stigmas. The fight to make this world a better place whether it be environmental, social, political or economical, gen Z never takes a step aback.

Zoomers have already taken their initiatives to make extremely necessary changes in the system. We may be seem like buds yet to become flowers but with our activism, liberalistic ideals, tolerance and healthy mindset, we hold the capability to make this world a better place to thrive in.

We hold the power to attack the age old practice of racism, through BLM protests we could change so many sick practices and minds. We surely made a better world for the LGBTQ community. With our acceptance, supporting pride parades and promoting individualism more and more people are coming out. But there’s always this invisible barrier of generation gap is experienced, as more and more people are coming out some staunch believes still consider this as a taboo.

Though our media houses seem to give a cold shoulder towards the deep core problems of society and politics, we don’t hesitate or fear to speak out. We raise our voices to every injustice we see or hear about. Individual journalists, stand-up comedians, social influencers and movies take a major role in helping our voices reach a greater mass.

The passionate commitment that we are bringing to the problems that our world faces is impeccable. We are prepared to stand up for what we believe in, regardless of the costs and consequences. And meeting these international-scale challenges head on, as Thunberg, Yousafzai and many other like them are already doing, will call out every ounce of our tremendous potential.
